Calyx

Definition: An extension of the [link url =/od/r/g/renalpelvis.htm]renal pelvis[/link] that surrounds the renal papillae. It collects urine from the papillary ducts or ducts of Bellini. Several minor calyces drain into a major calyx and then onto the renal pelvis.
